Every person in the society can make a difference.

Here are people from different fields of life. They think that they can play an important role for the betterment of the environment.

	I am a farmer. I grow the vegetables and fruits you eat. I use natural manure for farming instead of fertiliser, which I think is more effective and environmental friendly. I also try not to waste water and do not let the tubewell keep running all the time.
	I am an industrialist. I own two factories, which produce dyes for cloth. I have installed pollution control equipment at my factories. This equipment cleans the waste before we discard them because the waste contains a lot of chemicals that are not good for our health. I think this will save many lives.
	I am a housewife. I have two children. I believe that we should not waste things. Water, electricity, clothes, papers, air every thing is valuable for us. I am teaching my children not to waste things. This is not only important for our family but also for the country.
	I am a secondary school teacher. I discuss the advantages of eating a balanced diet with my students. It is very important that our food contain all the necessary nutrients (Carbohydrates, Fats, Proteins, Vitamins, Minerals and water) in the required amount, which is called a balanced diet. We should try to include vegetables, fruits, milk, pulses and other food groups in our diet to keep ourselves healthy. Most importantly, we should avoid wasting food because there are many people in this world who do not have enough to eat.
	I am a school student. I feel bad when my fellow students throw candy wrappers and empty bags of chips on the streets, unnecessarily use loud voices and kill animals or hurt them badly. I don’t do it my self and I also ask my friends not to do it. I believe that by this simple gesture I am making a difference. You can do the same.
